Round Three! (Addendum)
I just wanted to mention, before anyone gets in my grill, that I know John Kerry isn't for gay marriage either. But he believes in more rights for gay couples than George Bush and his approach seems to be more tolerant an even-handed about the issue.

You see, the trouble, is, Edwards is also against gay marriage, whereas Cheney is for it.
Okay, you've got a point there, Lukas. But do you really think Bush is going to change any legislation just because Cheney wants him to? I mean, usually, yeah. But I don't think Bush wants to alienate his target demographic. At least Kerry and Edwards seem to be on the same page here and seem to be committed to some positive changes.
I don't think anyone would ever change anything, though.
