You start to believe that you can actually read Latin. Before I took a month of Latin, I never bothered to read stuff that was written in Latin. Now, whether its the cryptic words of a serial killer, a state motto or the inscription on a gravestone, I will squint at the writing, consider the word endings and ponder whether or not that one word is in the genitive or dative case. Then I realize that my vocabulary is limited to girl, farmer and jug, and I give up.

A component of a missile-guidance system inadvertently falls into the hands of a 13-year-old boy -- who then becomes the target of a crime syndicate determined to recover it. Walker (Norris) responds to the boy's father's cry for help, but when he and Gage (Judson Mills) go to the family's home, they find the father murdered. Meanwhile, forensics expert Kay McCord (Janine Turner, late of "Strong Medicine") is investigating the murder of a woman who she watched leave a local bar with Ranger Rhett Harper (Andre Kristoff). "Ranger" co-stars Sheree J. Wilson and Clarence Gilyard also return.

Why are girls in pop-up ads for porn always smiling? Is that supposed to be appealing? I think it's strange when a naked girl smiles at me. And I'm not talking about a sultry grin like, "Oh yeah, you know what happens next Big Boy." It's like, "I'm getting my picture taken, but I'm wearing a leather thong!"

I've worn glasses in school since about 6th grade. I always assumed this was because I read and stare at the computer screen too much. But I was looking at some WebMD stuff on near-sightedness:

You are at risk for common nearsightedness if you:

* Have a family history of nearsightedness in one or both parents.
* Are Asian.
* Are female (a risk factor for high myopia only).

DUDE! My dad is Chinese! All this time I thought Asians were just studious and so they had bad vision from the books. But no! It's genetic! Or is the reading books and using computers genetic, and that leads to the nearsightedness? Anyway, it's not my fault. It's my Goddamn Asian genes!
